Waste Free Environment is the key component of the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA)'s contribution to the Global Declaration for Solutions on Marine Litter. During a week long campaign, GPCA member companies organize clean ups and educational activities around sustainable waste management in the Arabian Gulf and in other countries where GPCA members have offices. GPCA also works closely with national governments in the GCC states on environmental issues, waste management in particular, and promotes recycling through its conferences, award programs and media outreach.
