PlasticsEurope’s localised website for Marine Litter Solutions was launched today. The website contains information on projects currently being held by the association, which represents over 90% of the European plastics manufacturers.
PlasticsEurope is one of the most active signatories of the plastics industry’s global declaration for solutions on marine litter, with projects going from research to awareness campaigns, share of best waste management practices, programmes to enhance plastics recovery and actions to prevent pellet losses.
Descriptions of 13 projects are already available and the association will regularly update the new website to shed light on latest initiatives and achievements.
