As part of the Malaysian plastics industry’s social responsibility, the Malaysian Plastics Forum (MPF) launched the ‘Don’t be a Litterbug’ campaign in 2012 to raise awareness about the harm that littering does to the environment. ‘Don’t be a Litterbug’ emphasizes litter prevention, recycling and put forward the message that: Plastics Do Not Belong to the Ocean!
Our Litter Free Thaispusam 2016 event was a huge success in cleaning up Batu Caves during our 2-day campaign period. We partnered with Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Dhevasthanam, Hindu Youth Organization, MINNAL FM, Polystyrene (PS) Manufacturers, Malaysia Hindu Sangam, Hindu Sevai Sangam and Malaysia Hindudharma Maamandram.
