The Plastics|SA Sustainability Council and Polymer Recycling Groups, in conjunction with the Packaging Council of SA, need to improve waste management by ensuring actions to increase the recycling rate of plastics. This plan of action includes encouraging separation at source from households, training waste collectors on the sorting of plastics, and establishing end markets for recycled plastics.
