Earth 911 Partnership with Associations Representing Plastic Makers

From 2009 through 2012, associations representing plastic makers, through the American Chemistry Council (ACC), partnered with Earth 911, a digital media platform devoted to providing Americans with news and information about recycling and living more sustainable lifestyles.  In addition, Earth 911 featured a zip code locator database where consumers could search for nearby locations to recycle plastic bottles, containers, bags, film wraps and many other materials.  As part of our partnership, ACC provided content to the web site on plastics recycling, litter prevention and other plastics sustainability topics.
