In April 2019, SCIC took on the role of programme administrator for Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) in Singapore. SCIC represents chemical companies across the value chain including chemical manufacturers, logistics service providers and traders. Our efforts have been focused on raising awareness of the programme among our member companies.
Our first session on OCS good sharing practices and gathered the commitment from 7 member companies to support the programme during the official launch event at the International Coastal Beach Clean-Up Event as part of the “Clear Shores, Clean Waters” Campaign.
Project Outcomes
We have enhanced our advocacy efforts in driving the importance of zero pellet loss through industry platform of good practices sharing.
