PlasticsEurope, through the consortium COREPLA, supports the program Spiagge e Fondali Puliti, a beach protection programme taking place in Italy and carried out by Legambiente. The programme seeks sustainable tourism, civic behaviour on the beach, recycling, law enforcement and insists on the right of all citizens to have free access to the sea.

Legambiente is a non-profit organization which organises its activities thanks to a voluntary commitment of thousands of citizens who want to raise awareness on environmental emergencies in the country.

Corepla (National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Packaging Waste) is a business consortium set up in compliance with current environmental legislation to organize and manage the collection, recovery and recycling of plastic packaging.

What is COREPLA?
COREPLA is a nonprofit National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Waste. It comprises almost 2,700 companies active in the sector of plastic packaging.

COREPLA is engaged in the collection and recovery of post-consumer packaging. It promotes the prevention of waste, organises awareness campaigns for citizens and seeks support from municipalities.
